About the Artist
I have been making miniature porcelain dolls since 2000. The most common
question I get is, “How in the world did you get started ?” It all started with
my parent’s hobby of Egg Art. Back in the late 1980s I began to sculpt little
figurines to go inside intricately decorated Ostrich and Goose eggs. That
venture only lasted a couple of months, for most of my time was spent as a
professional musician, wife and mother of two daughters. Years later I found
more time on my hands and was able to re-acquaint myself with making figures
again. One thing led to another and before long I was working with porcelain and
making 1:12 scale miniature dolls.
My dolls have been featured in Miniature Collector Magazine and Dolls in
Miniature Magazine.
I was born and raised in Southern California and still live there today with my
husband, John, my youngest daughter, April and Corky, my parrot.
